How do I embed a video (or other media)?

Simply pasting the link and waiting a moment or two is enough to embed most things — you'll see the video pop right into place where the link was. While we do support a large number of automatic embeds, there may be times where the auto-embedder is not compatible with a particular site. If that is the case, we recommend linking as directly as possible to the video itself (e.g. a direct video link instead of the full article, if available).


The post / reply box isn't loading

Sometimes things get knocked out of whack between our server and your computer. Please clear your browser cache (instructions can be found here) to get things back to normal.


Posting a status update

A status update is a bite sized note you want to share with the PopXclusive community.

 

You can post a status update by navigating to your profile page.

 

Mobile:

  1. Tap the navigation on the menu at the top right of your screen
  2. Tap account > Profile
  3. Scroll to where it says "Activity"
  4. Type something in the comment form and click "Submit Status"

 

Desktop:

  1. Click your username in the top right corner of the page
  2. Click Profile
  3. Type something in the comment form and click "Submit Status"

 

* If you do not see these forms, your status option may be disabled. You can re-enable it by:

  1. Navigating to your profile
  2. Click "edit profile"
  3. Tap "Enable status updates?" so that the switch is green
  4. Refresh the page
