  1. I'm sure the intentions were innocent. A lot of white southerners were raised thinking that honoring the Confederacy is just a "southern pride" thing. They tend to be in denial that the Confederate army had racist motivations. White supremacist propaganda. But people, especially black people, having been trying to fight against that for decades and finally people are listening. The Dixie Chicks though, their politics are probably closer to mine than to many of their country music peers, so I don't think they are white supremacists. tbh.... i aint mad at the name, probably because it sounds cute. they should've kept it. but i think they did it just as a principle, out of respect for Black Americans.
  2. A legend to me is someone who has heavily impacted the music scene, by coming in and doing something new or by being extraordinary. I think BTS will be considered legends.
  3. Hello everyone I’m new to the forum, I had been on several pop forums before but I’m always willing to try something new, this place seems super cool so far. As far as music goes, I mostly listen to R&B nowadays but I also like pop and hip hop. Fave artists: Beyoncé, Rihanna, Mariah Carey, SHINee, Girls’ Generation, pre-Joanne Gaga, Ariana Grande, Britney, Drake, and lots more. I’m also into video games, fashion, and black feminism. This forum’s gonna be big! Stream Ungodly Hour
